Recycling Cell Phone Waste

 

As the world leader in recycling cell phones, ReCellular, Inc. is committed to recycling all of our electronic waste to contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment! We also believe that protection of the environment is compatible with sound business practices.

 

As such, ReCellular will:

 

1. Meet or exceed the requirements of applicable environmental law and regulation and     other requirements to which we subscribe.

• Require adherence to environmental laws, regulations, policies and procedures for our employees
• Require that our employees receive adequate and appropriate training

 

2. Continuously improve our operations and management systems to assure the ongoing integrity of our Environmental Policy.

• Maintain constructive dialogue with regulatory and governmental agencies, customers and interested parties to identify and respond to relevant emerging environmental issues
• Assess the effective implementation of our environmental management system by conducting periodic internal audits

 

3. Prevent pollution through the integration of environmental considerations into our planning and decision making.

• Avoid unnecessary generation of waste to reduce and prevent pollution

 

In the United States alone, it is estimated that 130 million cell phones will be replaced this year, accounting for 65,000 tons of waste. ReCellular works to keep cell phones out of landfills and through its innovative recycling cell phones programs collects more than 75,000 cell phones at more than 40,000 drop-off locations around the country each week.
